Implement regular park maintenance, adequate lighting, and community events to promote the use of public spaces and discourage illicit activities.

Why the contribution is important

My idea is important to make parks safer for everyone to use.

Some of the parks by my house could definitely do with a bit of tlc, more lighting would be great for the winter months as well.

I think this is a good idea, but i never feel safe in parks at nighttime in winter, even with extra lighting

Thank you for your idea. We have a project in the pipeline that will provide more streetlights to underlit areas, which will hopefully help people to feel safer at night time.
