Why the contribution is important

More dialogue between people of different backgrounds will foster friendships and understanding in eachothers reasons for doing things, this will lead to less understanding and disagreements in the community.

From experience with the system I would say that the law enforcement need retraining completely, not just community outreach programmes.

I think that though the police are not perfect we need to start somewhere and this sounds like it could have some benefit.

Our police force have acknowledged that the system needs updating and have been hard at work bringing in updates to procedures. Hopefully these changes will make things fairer for everyone in the area.
